Woman Healed of Disappointment

“I had it on my heart to share Jesus with some people I know in my neighborhood. So we drove to my neighborhood, and my brother ended up being out front of my house with his girlfriend in his car. It was a divine appointment! The lady’s name was Jill, and we started talking with her and asked if there was anything she needed prayer for. She shared a hard story about her son who was ten years old who she hadn’t seen in awhile. We could see the heaviness she was carrying as she shared the story, so we asked if we could pray and just invite Jesus to come. We had her close her eyes, and we welcomed the Holy Spirit. We told her to think about the first time in her childhood she was really disappointed and lost hope for a good life. Immediately, she started crying. We told her to picture Jesus in that spot with her and that He wanted to take all the hurt and disappointment. She cried even more as the Holy Spirit touched her. We invited her to surrender her life to Jesus, but she said she was already a believer and then started confessing all her problems and what she’d gone through. We told her to surrender all her mess to Jesus, and she did. She was touched by the love and peace of Jesus and was so grateful we prayed for her. We hadn’t even planned to come to the neighborhood for her, but God knew and set the whole thing up!”
