Lady who relapsed on cocaine gets healed, rededicates her life to Jesus, and finds a place to stay

“My friend Ralph and I went to a park in North Portland during an outreach. We ended up talking with a woman who shared that she had been clean from cocaine for twelve years and had recently relapsed. As we talked, the woman told us she had grown up in church and knew God at one point, but knew she needed Him in her life again. So we prayed for her, and God powerfully touched her. I had noticed earlier she walked with a limp, so we prayed for healing. The Holy Spirit gave me a word of knowledge that she also had pain in her neck. She said it was true, and that she had had scoliosis since birth. As we prayed, all the pain left her body and she cried! We then led her through forgiving all the people in her life that hurt her. She said the pain from these relationships was why she relapsed into cocaine. Right there, she forgave them and rededicated her life to Jesus! Her sister was also with her, and seeing what was happening, offered to have her stay at her house. She didn’t feel worthy of staying with her sister and said she was planning to stay at the bus stop that night, but we encouraged her there was no shame and that she should stay with her sister. She agreed and so was able to get off the streets! Jesus is pursuing His lost sons and daughters!”
